Terms of Use
1. About these terms
These terms apply to the Kindedo app and kindedo.com, provided by AMEDYA LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (“we”, “us”). If you got Kindedo from the App Store, the app is licensed to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement; if you got it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply. These terms add to those agreements. If anything conflicts, the store’s agreement wins.
2. Who Kindedo is for
Kindedo is a learning app for children aged 2 to 6. A parent or guardian sets it up, chooses the settings and makes any purchase. By using Kindedo you confirm you are an adult and are using it for children in your care.
3. Free and paid content
Kindedo is free to download. Color World and samples from every other island are free. Kindedo Plus unlocks all islands, all age levels, new content as it is released, and all stickers and outfits, for up to four child profiles on a device.
4. Subscriptions
- Kindedo Plus Monthly ($9.99 per month) and Annual ($49 per year) are auto-renewing subscriptions. Prices are shown in US dollars; the App Store or Google Play shows your local price before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the next period within 24 hours before the current one ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- If a price changes, the store will tell you in advance and, where required, ask for your consent.
5. Lifetime purchase
Kindedo Plus Lifetime ($99) is a one-time purchase. It unlocks everything Kindedo Plus includes, with all current and future activity content, for as long as Kindedo is offered on that store. It does not include separate future products, such as a classroom edition.
6. Family Sharing and restoring
All Kindedo Plus purchases can be shared with your family through Apple Family Sharing or Google Play Family Library, where available. Use Restore Purchases in the parent area to get your purchase back on a new device.
7. Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google. See our Refund Policy.
8. Your licence
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Kindedo for your family’s own, non-commercial use. All content in Kindedo — activities, artwork, the character Kindo, voices and sounds — belongs to us or our licensors. Please don’t copy, sell, modify or redistribute it, or try to take the app apart.
9. Changes and availability
We improve Kindedo over time and may add, change or retire activities. We will not take away content you paid for that is part of Kindedo Plus without a fair reason, such as a legal or safety issue. Downloaded activities work offline; some features need an internet connection.
10. Our responsibility to you
We provide Kindedo with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else the law does not allow us to limit, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Otherwise, we are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for problems caused by your device, your internet connection or the app stores.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere, you keep the protection of the consumer laws where you live, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.
